Bar R may have been established in 2006 but we are by no means new to the cattle business. We had been assisting Alicia’s father (AAA Farms) and having our daughter’s show in Missouri until moving to Iowa. Living here we offer an ever growing selection of carefully selected genetics to enhance your show experience as well as offering productive males and females to throw vigorous, correct and productive calves for the sale barn or to retain as future breeding stock.

Here at Bar R we have a few basic things we look for in our producing dams and sires: Manageable birth weight, females with adequate pelvic structure to pass calves with little to no assistance, good disposition, strong milkers, structurally sound, and animals that can work for the ring and the field. All of our animals are PHA/TH free.

At the Stop light in Danville (there is only
one) take X38 out of town
On X38 go 6 miles to H40
Turn Right and go 1 mile to 185th Ave
Turn Right For 1/4 mile, Rt 2 blocks
